2006 Segunda División Peruana
The 2006 Segunda División Peruana, the second division of Peruvian football (soccer), was played by 12 teams. The tournament winner, Deportivo Municipal , was promoted to the 2007 Peruvian First Division. The last places, Deportivo Curibamba and Defensor Villa del Mar, were relegated to the 2007 Copa Peru. The tournament was played on a home-and-away round-robin basis.
